STABILIFE is a system that uses resins into bags, studied by ENOLIFE (Patent number TA2010U000008). STABILIFE system allows exessive cation’s removal in musts and wine, such as calcium, potassium, heavy metals, such as copper and iron, that are exchanged with H+.

This process helps the following stabilization process against tartaric precipitation. Secondary effect, but very important, is keeping pH and total acidity of musts and wines at optimal values. That gives a fresher product, more resistant to oxidation and microbiological attacks, and more stable on the chemical-physical point of view.
